Rooty terms of use

Rooty is a cybersecurity learning app published by IMTech (Ismael Moussaoui), contact@rangelab.fr. By using it, you accept these terms and Apple's standard license agreement (EULA).

Rooty teaches security techniques in fictional environments, for educational purposes. You agree never to use them against a system, network or person without explicit permission: it is illegal and punishable by law.

An account is optional. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You can delete your account at any time from the app.

• Rooty Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, charged by Apple to your Apple account.
• The yearly plan may include a free trial. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts at the displayed price.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from your Apple account settings.
• Prices are shown in the app before any purchase and may vary by country.

Heart packs are one-time purchases consumed in the app. Refunds follow Apple's policy.

Lessons, texts, illustrations and the Rooty mascot are protected by copyright. You may use the app for your personal learning; copying or redistributing the content is forbidden without written permission.

We do our best to keep the content accurate and the app available, but cannot guarantee it at all times. Rooty does not replace certified training or a professional audit.

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute we will first seek an amicable solution; failing that, French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the consumer rights of your country.
